CATALOG DOCUMENTATION

Naming
Protocol

Every cover carries two compact markers: a four-bit Build identifier describing the era, and a release-type symbol describing the object or modification.

01

SELECT BUILD ERA

Four bits define the cycle.

Each two-year Build is encoded from 0000 through 1111. The four squares inside the CPU marker read left-to-right, top-to-bottom. An outlined square is 0; a filled square is 1.

PLACEMENT RULE

On every protocol-native release cover, the Build marker and release-type marker occupy a designated, consistent area. The artwork itself may change radically between eras; these marks preserve catalog continuity without forcing one permanent genre or visual style.
